Hallo, wie genau gestaltet man den Fork einer BSD-lizenzierten Software?
Die Lizenz sagt,

Das klingt erstmal so, als ob jeder veränderte Code unter dem Copyright des Ursprünglichen Autors steht, egal, wie stark die Änderungen sind. Fair enough. Aber fügt man sich selbst dann in die Liste ein? Die mit der veränderten Version verteile Lizenz wäre dann also

BSD gilt ja als sehr freie Lizenz, generell sollte das Forken also kein Problem sein. (Im aktuellen Fall möchte ich eine bestimmte Microcontroller-Library auf eine andere Platform portieren, es wird also sehr viel Codegerüst stehenbleiben und nur gewisse Aufrufe ausgetauscht werden).
